  3. [..YouTube..] So I can hear a little Greb influence on the grooves… very nice. But the real question is- Where is the Aaron Edgar Signature Sonor Snare?!?!? So what would it be? Is it configurable within the SQ2 limitations? What could be the ultimate snare for a man that has so many sick snares?

  4. [..YouTube..] you are the bomb!

  7. [..YouTube..] @munication1 That’s a REAL tough call, man! I don’t even know where I’d start. I don’t think it would be something that could be configured in SQ2 if I was going to do a signature snare it’d have to be unique.

My name doesn’t carry anywhere NEAR enough weight for that to happen any time soon though 😛

my dream snare, nice playing to!

  10. [..YouTube..] @nickgrimwade Thanks bro! I LOVE this drum! In playback I was swearing between each time I tuned it about just how incredible it sounded with seriously NO effort. I mean, I’m really good at tuning, I can do it pretty effortlessly but this was above and beyond. It’s like you just can’t make this drum sound bad. I’d have to try really hard to make this drum even sound average. It’s crazy how badass this drum is.

No wonder it’s the best selling snare drum Sonor has ever made.

  22. [..YouTube..] I bought this snare last summer while I was in BC (nothing like treating yourself to a snare while on vacation). I have to admit that it surpassed my expectations and is my favourite snare I have ever played. Now, all i need is another 5k to buy myself an SQ2 kit. Aaron, thanks for these demos or your great snare collection. You have great equipment, a great ear for tuning/mixing and some amazing talent that all of us can learn from.

  28. [..YouTube..] great snare videos. I’m thinking of getting this snare and the new prolite snare, 14×6 brass shell. can you do a demo of it if you can. just wondering what type of music that snare would be suited to. thanks. great job by the way

  29. [..YouTube..] @Brok3nCarlos Thanks bro! But I actually don’t have that snare. Brass, as you’d expect is pretty bright and can be loud. So in a 6″ I’d expect an aggressive snare drum with some balls and some punch. Rock, loud shit, that’s what I’d expect from it. Although, I’d imagine also quite versatile and surprisingly useful in other dynamic ranges depending on your touch.

  31. [..YouTube..] @aaronedgardrum @aaronedgardrum ahk. cool. I’m pretty load when I play not only because I do rimshot aswell but if I get the 6″ by the sounds of it, it would be a very aggressive snare which is good. how will the 5″ differ. also I’m looking at die cast hoops. just overall I’m looking at a completely opposite snare to the Benny greb snare and by the sounds of it your saying it pretty aggressive. thanks again

Honestly, I can’t remember the last time I had trouble tuning anything so I may not be the best person to ask. But I think it’s a super easy one to tune!
