sloppy for me… ahhh well more practice

  5. [..YouTube..] @4lifepaintballa15 That’s exactly what it is man! It’s just practice 🙂 All this crap is just off the top of my head. When I do these videos, I essentially just record a session with the video camera on for 8-10 minutes and just cut the best 90-120 seconds into a video.

  6. [..YouTube..] @aaronedgardrum schweeet!

  8. [..YouTube..] @4lifepaintballa15 And for the record, there’s always some transitions and some parts that suck lol. Those are the parts that get cut and nobody sees 😛

  12. [..YouTube..] Can I make a request? Could you tune some of the piccolos as tight as piccolos are normally tuned? Right now I feel like you’re trying to put some optical illusion and make a piccolo sound like a marching snare.

  13. [..YouTube..] @milesmetkodrums27 I don’t really like em tuned super tight, personally! If I want a higher pitch, I use a smaller drum 😛 I think I tuned the 14×4.25 Delite kinda high in one of them? Maybe it didn’t make it into the video though. Lemme check

  15. [..YouTube..] @milesmetkodrums27 Yeah man! Around 40 seconds or so into the 4.25 delite I tune it up kinda high!

I like a lot of punch and meat out of m snares, so usually if I’m going to tune a 14 or 13 high it’ll be on a deep one so I still get a bunch of smack out of it.

Personally, if I can’t really feel the meat of a large diameter snare drum in my chest, I just feel like I’m missing something. So tuning a piccolo way up just doesn’t really do it for me. 😀

  17. [..YouTube..] @aaronedgardrum Yeah. I like a beefy main snare, but I kinda like an accessory piccolo that’s almost table top tight on both sides. Your tuning high seems to be different than my tuning high. If you watch my “dirty splash solo” that’s kinda what I mean.

  33. [..YouTube..] Aaron, you are no doubt great at what you do… But I always wonder – He looks like a metal drummer, his kit looks metal, he has gnarly cymbals, but I’ve only seen jazz/fusion/hiphop grooves. what I want to see is slaying on the massive kit. will it ever be seen on youtube?

  34. [..YouTube..] It sounds great!

  40. [..YouTube..] @munication1 It’ll be seen man 🙂 I didn’t wanna get pigeon holed as a metal guy so I purposely avoided doing straight up metal stuff in most of my videos. I’m sure those colours will present themselves soon 😉
