  11. [..YouTube..] Question, how much do die cast hoops really improve the sound of the snare? And would you do both top and bottom hoops?

Question, how much do die cast hoops really improve the sound of the snare? And would you do both top and bottom hoops?

  12. [..YouTube..] @iLoveAltNation It very much depends on the drum. Sometimes it’s not an improvement. They’re different than triple flanged, but in a general sense I wouldn’t say better. The die cast will dry the drum out a little bit. It’ll give you a wider tuning range on some drums. You’ll notice a little more punch and sharpness to the tone as well. You may notice that the drum’s ring is a little different, but that all depends on the drum.

  16. [..YouTube..] @iLoveAltNation As for top / bottom being different. I’m sure the change would be very slight with how it affects the snare side head. I honestly haven’t tried it myself. 🙂

And with there being so many drums in this series, I can’t imagine everyone liking all of what I’ve done with them! You’ll like some, dislike others. It’s the nature of choices! 😀

  29. [..YouTube..] @kevinyo4 They love weird! Which is why I love them 😀 Hammerax has a pretty large base of distributors since this summer. So if you’re in the states it shouldn’t be too hard to find them. Guitar Center, Sam Ash. In Canada they just got into Long & McQuades too!

  35. [..YouTube..] @aaronedgardrum I prefer trying a cymbal before i buy it, like sometimes you hear an cymbal through your speakers and think it sounds good and then when you see the cymbal in store it sounds like crap..
not saying that im an expert and buy many cymbals, It’s just what ive noticed few weeks ago when i was looking for a china cymbal, still haven’t bought one though,

and ill contact them tomorrow and ask where i can find the cymbals.

  43. [..YouTube..] @aaronedgardrum It’s not that i really need this one rare special cymbal, so i don’t think i need to take an unnecessary risk.. So I’ll just buy what i can try in stores, however if i can try a cymbal in a store and then find it waaay cheaper on the internet, then i might consider buying it online
