I apologize for my absence lately, but I have something to show you from my time off. I spent 60 insane days doing Shaun T’s Insanity workout. This workout, they claimed to be the hardest workout ever created for DVD… Until they came out with a sequel, appropriately titled, “Insanity : The Asylum” which apparently is even more intense.
To put it into perspective, if you’re at all familiar with P90X, that’s an extreme program, right? Well, I’ve done P90X and I can genuinely say that Insanity makes it seem almost like a joke. It’s so unbelievably over the top I hardly even made it through my first workout without keeling over and dying! What’s even better is about the time you’re getting used to the workload as far as intensity goes is near the end of month one. Then month two kicks in and they jack the intensity so high it’s straight up intimidating. But by the time you make it to the end, if you’ve done it every day religiously and followed the “Elite Nutrition Guide” you WILL see the results. I sure as hell did. But to be clear, this isn’t the end of my fitness journey by a long shot. Right now I’m going through a recovery week. Still working out, but not as murderously. Then it’s time for that sequel. The Asylum. Wish me luck!
